A Pechmann condensation activator for the synthesis of 4-methylcoumarin derivatives by the reaction between substituted phenols and methyl acetoacetate.
Initiator for benzoxazine polymerization.
Catalysts for the regioselective Frisian rearrangement of phenolic esters to hydroxyphenylalkyl/aryl ketones.
A catalyst for preparing 8-hydroxymethyltricycloene acetate by reacting camphene with formaldehyde in the presence of dichloromethane-acetic anhydride solvent.
