LC to ST Fiber Cable

LC to ST fiber cables are commonly used in scenarios where devices with LC interfaces need to be connected to devices with ST interfaces, or vice versa. These could include connecting networking equipment, servers, switches, or other optical devices.

Product Description

LC to ST Fiber Cable/Patch Cord/Fiber Jumper

This 50/125µm OM4 fiber optic cable features an extremely high bandwidth, suitable for high throughput enterprise networks, telecomm rooms, server farms, and cloud storage network applications. It is ideal for connecting 10G SR, 10G LRM, SFP+ transceivers, etc. for 10G/40G/100G Ethernet connections. It supports 10GB transmissions up to 400 meters and 40G/100GB transmissions up to 100 meters and is fully backwards compatible with 50/125. These OM4 cables allow for longer connection lengths than OM3 cables.

LC Connector: It is a small form factor (SFF) connector with a push-pull mechanism. LC connectors are widely used in data communication and networking applications, offering high-density and excellent performance.

ST Connector: It is a bayonet-style fiber optic connector with a long cylindrical ferrule. ST connectors were commonly used in networking applications, although they are less common today compared to LC connectors.

The cable itself consists of optical fibers enclosed in a protective sheath. The specific type of cable, whether single-mode or multimode, may vary based on the application requirements.

The LC to ST fiber cable serves the purpose of transmitting data in optical networks. It allows for the efficient and reliable transfer of optical signals between devices, ensuring connectivity and data integrity.

These cables are typically used in networking environments, data centers, telecommunications, and other applications where high-speed and reliable data transmission over long distances is essential.
