Raycom is able to offer a security system with fiber optic monitoring capabilities. It provides 100% perimeter coverage for long distance applications with no gaps between sensors. The cable itself acts as a sensor that can detect and locate intrusions with real-time artificial intelligence analysis based on a database of anomalies and signatures, thus avoiding false alarms better than traditional fiber optic systems.
Raycom's detection feature is acoustically based, which allows the cable to detect any intrusion without any physical movement of the fiber optic sensor cable. This feature makes it possible to bury the cable in any ground. the Raycom system does not require any power supply in the field, and its installation process minimizes the need for trenching and expensive installation methods.
